Terms of Service
These Terms govern access to and use of SchoolerOS software, applications, and related services by schools, staff users, parents, and authorized operators.
1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using SchoolerOS, the subscribing school and its authorized users agree to these Terms. If your institution does not agree, do not use the service.
2. Accounts and Access
Schools are responsible for account governance, role assignment, and credential security for users under their tenancy. Access is role-based and may be restricted according to operational or security policy.
- Super Admins and Principals manage privileged access.
- Teachers and staff must only access records relevant to their duties.
- Parents and students must use authorized accounts tied to school records.
3. Acceptable Use
Users may not misuse the platform. Prohibited actions include:
- Attempting unauthorized access to accounts, records, or infrastructure.
- Uploading harmful code, malicious scripts, or abusive content.
- Using the platform for unlawful surveillance, harassment, or fraud.
- Sharing confidential student, parent, or staff data outside approved workflows.
4. Free Term and Subscription
Eligible schools may receive one free term/session for onboarding and migration. Continued use after the free period requires an active paid plan based on the selected service tier.
- Trial Term: first term only, all features, ₦0 per pupil/student.
- Essentials: ₦500 per pupil/student/month (₦1,500 per term).
- Standard: ₦1,000 per pupil/student/month (₦3,000 per term).
- Complete: ₦2,500 per pupil/student/month (₦7,500 per term).
Renewal policy
Schools that choose not to renew may have accounts restricted or deactivated after transition and export support windows close.
5. Service Availability
SchoolerOS targets high availability but does not guarantee uninterrupted access at all times. Maintenance windows, third-party outages, or force majeure events may temporarily impact service.
6. Intellectual Property
SchoolerOS retains all rights, title, and interest in the software platform, product design, and associated materials. Schools retain ownership of their institutional data and uploaded content.
7. Fees and Billing
Paid subscriptions are billed per active pupil/student according to the selected tier. Late or failed payments may result in feature restrictions or account suspension until billing status is regularized.
8. Suspension and Termination
SchoolerOS may suspend or terminate access for:
- Material violation of these Terms.
- Serious security risks or abuse of platform services.
- Non-payment beyond agreed grace periods.
On termination, schools may request data export in line with contract obligations and retention limits.
9. Liability and Disclaimer
SchoolerOS provides software tools for school operations. Schools remain responsible for policy decisions, academic outcomes, and administrative actions taken by their staff users.
10. Governing Law and Contact
These Terms are governed by applicable laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, unless a different governing law is agreed in a signed enterprise contract.
